what we have done
The
two products that we are doing are posters and a website.
The posters
will be put around the place/s that we want to change to make it better for the
community.
For example
the baldock park we want to stop dog fouling in the area that ruins the area for
the children.
The website
that we have got will be viewed around the country because it is on the internet
and it is easier to access and it is free.
It should convince more people because if it has
affected them they might get behind our campaign.

baldock police station.
Baldock’s High Street police station has served the public since the 1960s but due to Herts Constabulary’s financial situation the base will be shut on June 1 2011 and eventually sold.
Andrew White, chief executive of Hertfordshire Police Authority, which own the site, said: “We have got plans to have a location for the neighbourhood officers and PCSOs that’s in discussion with the local authority.
“Through the process of pooling resources people will have as good access to their local officers as they have had in the past.”
Front desk service was ceased on April 1 2011 and the station was previously open Monday to Wednesday from 12.30-4pm.
It is closing as the force face a £36m shortfall over the next four years and it is estimated the closure and sale, along with three other sites, will net Herts police £20m in capital receipts.
Ward councillor for Baldock East, Marilyn Kirkland, said: “I don’t think it’s going to have an effect because they are so highly professional that it’s not going to take them longer to get here.
“We’re going to have a police presence in the town because they’re looking to get in some community premises like the Community Centre.
“We’re not going to be without police men, they’re going to be based in Letchworth.”
Herts police have organised a series of drop-in sessions for the community while they seek a permanent base the town scheduled to take place next month.
